In addition, the Department of Scientific Research is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the university’s research activities, playing a central role in promoting a research culture and enhancing the quality of scientific investigations. Likewise, the Department of Research and Scientific Journal is mandated to publish research findings after undergoing scientific evaluation and peer review processes, presenting them through the Bamyan University Research and Scientific Journal to the academic community.
Furthermore, the General Library Management, as an important support unit, plays a significant role in providing access to scientific resources, books, articles, and other research materials for academic staff and students, thereby facilitating access to reliable and credible scientific sources.

It also ensures the protection of intellectual property rights, identifies plagiarism and conflicts of interest, reviews academic papers and manuscripts, approves conference topics, and monitors the quality of scholarly works. In addition, through coordination with the Vice-Chancellor for Research, regular meetings, annual planning, documentation of activities, and reporting to relevant authorities, it contributes to coordination, transparency, and continuous improvement of research processes.
