In this research, the environmental conditions of Campanian-Maastrichtian sediments are introduced through the introduction and identification of calcareous nannofossils, the determination of biological biozones and their comparison with global standard zonations and paleoecological interpretation of the sedimentary basin. In order to achieve this goal, several sections based on calcareous nannofossil were studied. Due to the first occurrence of the nannofossil index species such as Quadrum sissinghii, Quadrum trifidum and Micula prinsii and associated fossils, the age of the selected sections Early Late Campanian-Late Late Maastrichtian is suggested, the counting of identified species and paleoecological interpretations indicates relatively low geographic latitudes, low productivity and low fertility, and sedimentation at relatively high temperatures.
